This short piece is a hybrid between an audio journal entry and an immersive soundwalk from my front lawn to my entrance door, reflecting on life in London flatshares. It uses the entrance to discuss the neglect often seen in shared houses, how initial good intentions fade, and how a home’s exterior reflects its interior and residents’ lives. It captures the transient nature of London flatshares, where the house bears marks of previous tenants, serving as a temporary stop before moving on.
Home sweet home, I guess
