My practise revolves around the physical experience of sound, exploring the environment around us and how we exist within it. I draw upon notions of ecology and psychogeography to illuminate processes and systems that go unnoticed by the human experience, with a particular interest in examining how land around us can hold memory. I achieve this is in a few ways, through sound walking and soundscape design, combining field recordings with found/imagined sounds, to create new audio landscapes. These approaches place an emphasis on connecting history to local communities and uses sound as a means to highlight systems of the natural world.
