Jules Horne
I'm a multidisciplinary writer and artist from the Scottish Borders. My site-specific theatre plays Allotment and Thread have won Edinburgh Fringe Firsts and I've had several plays on BBC radio. I've written dramatised audio tours for visitor attractions in my area.
I was part of the arts-science collaboration Working the Tweed (Year of Natural Scotland) and have been artist in residence at MoKS Centre for Arts as Social Practice in Estonia.
I'm a linguist and Scots speaker interested in the intersection of writing and technology, placemaking and storytelling. I perform spoken word with my cello, and am keen to find ways to expand solo performance and amplify indigenous storytelling.
My background in another life is radio journalism in the UK and Switzerland.
