My practice centres on care, community, and ecological entanglement. Based on a farm in South Africa, I use walking to engage with the land and investigate the traces we leave behind — not as a documentarian, but as a participant at the threshold where human progress meets the land's own slower cycles of return.During this WALC course, I'm exploring how other species and natural forces map the world — narratives that aren't drawn on paper, but etched into the landscape as signatures of existence.Mostly, though, it means my fingernails are stained purple from Wild Olive berries, and my boots are heavy with the soil of the marks I'm trying to read.
