Willa Zhang is a writer from the suburbs of Los Angeles who lives in Missoula, Montana. Her writing has appeared in The Southern Review, The Hopkins Review, The Masters Review, and elsewhere.

She is currently completing her MFA in nonfiction from the University of Montana, where she is working on a book of essays about camping alone in the American West as the child of Chinese immigrants.
