This immersive audio soundwalk, created by Galen Koch of The First Coast, with College of the Atlantic students Annika Ross and Celia Morton, takes you on a journey through Stonington, Maine’s culture, landscape, and history. Designed for a walking route that begins at 44 North’s Stonington cafe, this walk can be enjoyed on foot or from the comfort of your own home. Created in spring of 2023, the Stonington Soundwalk was created for community members and visitors. It provides a glimpse into the history of this small coastal fishing town and invites the listener to engage with the landscape, the town, and its residents (both past and present) through an intimate and immersive audio experience,
