Holon generates synth music from your body movements and the world around you. Your behaviour decides what you hear. Sensors on the phone or optional wearables, such as Apple Watch or AirPods Pro, lets users explore an adaptive soundtrack that accompanies and sometimes drives their everyday activities. Real-world signals are mapped to musical parameters, including speed, step rate, heart rate (if available), time of day, solar/lunar position, weather and device motion. Try Holon in a moving vehicle or an elevator!

An editor for advanced users, Holon.ist, lets users create their own adaptive music experiences or installations. Holon can also send signals to our compatible plugins for Ableton Live, Reaktor, VCV and miRack in a limited demo mode. Ableton Link needs to be activated in the settings and the devices need to be on the same wifi network. They connect automatically.
