Anna Piatou

(Greece)
I studied art at Florina School of Fine Arts, (2017). Currently I am doing an MA in Social Anthropology in university of Thessaly, Greece.
In my work as a visual artist, i deal with concepts such as collective memory, migration, violent deportation, mourning and bereavement in addition to their social implications throughout history. Using archival material and readymade objects with specific semiotic, i aim to create new narratives of the lived reality. The last few years I m living and working between Volos and Berlin.

shoggle, worple

Since the 1500s, shoggle has been a word for various sorts of shaking. No wonder it became a word for unsteady walking in the 1800s. Zombies and toddlers are big shogglers. Another term sometimes applied to such precarious ambling is warpling. Credits to Mark Peters.
