Mar Garrido is from Madrid, and now she is living and working in Granada, Spain. She has a PhD in Fine Art from the University of Granada, a Graduate Course from The School of Visual Art and Parsons School of Design in New York City and a Bachelor degree of Fine Art from the University of Madrid.
She has had nineteen solo exhibitions and participated in international video art festivals in Barcelona, Braga, Buenos Aires, New York, Venice, Edinburgh and Cuba among others.
