Simone Etter (1982*) is an Swiss artist with a nomadic social practice. Her work has social concerns and deals with the present body in relationship to others and their environment. Working with long term social performance projects at the core of her practice, Etter builds relationships as works of art by creating plattforms or mindful encounters in everyday life — encounters between people and place — as a living art practice. Simone Etter is Initiator of the artists' collective « künstlerinnenkollektiv marsie». Works and experiments on formats and actions to artistic interventions in public. Etter was born in Schwitzerland. She studied fine arts (2001-2004) and did a Master of Art in Art education (2008-2010). Etter teached in the field of artistic research, experimental space examinations and performance art in public.
She is living there were her art projects develop. Currently in Zürich, Switzerland with "The Marsie - space for collective art practice."

plodge

The Scottish and English word plodging has been wading through the lexical muck and mire since the late 1700s, and it refers to icky, slow, molasses-type walking. Plodge is probably a variation of plod. This word isn’t totally out of use, as a 1995 use from British magazine The Countryman illustrates: “Northbound Pennine Wayfarers, plodging through the interminable peat-bogs of the North Pennines.” Even if you have a spring in your step, it’s tough to skip merrily through the peat-bogs. Credits to Mark Peters.
