Cheryl Markosky always wanted to be a lighthouse keeper, but fell into journalism instead. She specialises mainly in property and lifestyle.

Cheryl’s contributed to a variety of titles, including The Sunday Times, Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, Daily and Sunday Telegraph, Financial Times, Country Life, Independent, MoveTo London, MoveTo Town & Country and Tempus. In the West Indies, she writes for Visitor, St Kitts and Nevis’s annual tourism magazine.
