For those who are interested in the combination of poetry and walking, the Arvon Foundation will be running a week long residential ‘Poetry and Walking’ course in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, July 8th-13th 2024. The course will be led by two poets – Steve Ely and Kirsten Norrie (MacGillivray) and participants will create poetic responses to the rich, varied and striking landscapes above and around Hebden Bridge as they encounter and explore it by walking.
