Sound walk
In August 2018, the Makers Street Art Walk featured musicians and street performers along Main Street, where visitors could engage with virtual instruments such as electronic drums, guitars, marimbas, and clarinets. The "Virtual Busking" project maps these sounds across four blocks, creating an interactive, geo-located musical experience accessible via the Echoes app.

In August 2018, visitors to the monthly Makers Street Art Walk enjoyed musicians and other street performers, or buskers. One of many stops along Main Street allowed visitors to try their hand at virtual instruments. Among them were electronic drums, guitars, marimba and clarinets. “Virtual Busking” maps these sounds over four blocks of Main Street, preserving the experience of musical exploration and discovery.
