Walk, listen, and create

Be the first to favourite this.

You’re at the home of walking artists. walk listen create . org is the new home of I am the walker . com, and the collaborative work of Andrew Stuck, Geert Vermeire and Babak Fakhamzadeh.

As a walking artist, you can include your work; your website, posts and walking pieces. Hold on tight; there’s more to come.

walk · listen · create is also the new home of Sound Walk September. Sound Walk September kicks off with Sound Walk Sunday, the start of a month-long global festival of sound walking events and performances, celebrating outdoor audio, geo-located, immersive performances, listening walks and sound walks.

walk · listen · create is also the new home of walking pieces and events, connected to the Museum of Walking.

Since September this year, we have been busily working towards creating a bigger, better home for Sound Walk Sunday, and all the walking pieces that contributors submitted for this year’s festival.

Sound Walk September 2020 will be hosted here, containing a repository of walking pieces, not just sound walks, from across the creative sector, as well as an events listing and a directory of walking artists and their online musings.

All contributions to Sound Walk Sunday (SWS19) have been moved over. Should people click on links that take them to walking pieces on the Museum of Walking site, where SWS19 pieces were housed, they will be automatically redirected to your entry, here. There is no immediate need for you to make revisions to your own websites.

walk · listen · create allows you to list your websites, blogs, pieces and events. This means that for SWS20 we encourage both new work created in 2020, as well as live events of new and reprised walks.

With that, Sound Walk Sunday 2019 becomes Sound Walk September 2020.

walk · listen · create is a work in progress. Do let us know if you encounter any issues. And we’re keen to hear about your ideas and suggestions.

Here’s the press release announcing the change.
