Esha Neogy

Esha Neogy

(United Kingdom)
First syllable of Esha is pronounced like saying the letter A, to rhyme with "may"

From Honolulu but have been living in London for some time. Writer, musician (early music), conference director, editor, etc. Returned to weaving recently after having had a class in it many years ago in high school. Have foot problems so can't walk long distances. My main musical group, Ensemble Tramontana, has travel and pilgrimage themes; tramontana is the name of a wind that blows across parts of Europe and was also a name for the North Star/Pole Star, a crucial navigation aid. If my email address doesn't work as given here, please try [email protected]. (If said as "communication" that's a pronunciation hint for my name.)

scow-ways, scowish

On a slant, as in “Walk scow-ways across the street as slow as you can and dare them to hit you.” from the Dictionary of Newfoundland English (University of Toronto Press, 1982).
