Fourth World Congress of Psychogeography 2021 – ‘Playing Out’
The 4WCoP 2021 Congress is happening! We have pulled out all the stops, and we are hoping to pull together a full programme – mostly online, but including some physical events in Huddersfield and elsewhere, Covid restrictions permitting. This year’s theme is ‘Playing Out’. Please see our website for details about the Call for Proposals
Play Cambridge Now or Never
The app Play Cambridge Now or Never!, created by Idit Nathan and Helen Stratford, launched on 27th May during Cambridge Junction’s Watch Out Festival, featuring 50 prompts around the city. It encourages users to explore Cambridge as a playground, offering new perspectives for both locals and visitors.
Play Peterborough Now or Never
Play Peterborough Now or Never! is a collaborative project by artists Helen Stratford and Idit Nathan, developed with METAL Peterborough to create an interactive app inspired by walking through the city with residents. The app invites users to explore and engage with Peterborough’s streets through playful, location-based activities.
Full of Noises: a village sound walk
Full of Noises is a self-guided soundwalk in the Village of East Hampton, created by sound artist Viv Corringham, that invites participants to explore local cultural sites through attentive listening. The walk, accessible via the Gesso app, begins at Guild Hall and continues through The Duck Pond and Clinton Academy, offering prompts to engage with the sounds and histories of each location.
