'Length of a Distance' is a piece designed for the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. The piece highlights the unique acoustic qualities of the transitional public spaces and explores the pace, density and presence of the people passing through them.

Dávid Somlo is a Hungarian interdisciplinary artist based in Budapest working with the movement of sounds and bodies in space and using walking as a fundamental form to facilitate and choreograph various performative situations. He will introduce three of his key works where walkers carry portable speakers.

Over the course of a year (2015-16), I searched for free, functional 230V-sockets in and around the city of Cologne. The final result was a listing of 100 locations available on an information board and online on a website.

Four participants were guided for two hours by a person who is visually impaired and uses a wheelchair. The GPS track was recorded using the Komoot app.

Salt Drawing

Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, USA

A geographic system of triangles and circles doubling in size is created in the Bonneville Salt Flats to record the arch of the sunset on the summer solstice. It took four days of labor to draw the diagram, and one day to draw the arch of the solstice. All labor was done by the artist and the recording was done with a drone.
