Originally produced for a 4.1 sound installation premiered at the Festival of Migration, Edinburgh. The Sound of Southside project worked with Chinese and Hong Kong migrants living in the Edinburgh area.

Sound of Southside explores composing through musical free improvisation and soundwalks through the Southside area of Edinburgh. Elaine Cheng has led workshops engaging largely the Chinese and Hong Kong communities in Edinburgh with anybody else from the community who is interested in taking part.
