The sound of Silence – a journey through awareness into consciousness and creativity

Event details

7 - 13 Sep, 2020
£5 per session or the weeks course is £20

A 5 day live meditation challenge culminating in a walking meditation practice at the weekend (Day 6) and a sharing of experiences and a coming together as one ( Day 7).

Sign up is essential to be sent the Zoom link to participate. This event will start on Monday 7th September, however, you can join in on any day.

We will begin each morning 10am BST with a 15 minute live meditation around listening.  This event will be recorded and made available as a downloadable audio file, so should you be unable to make the live event, we will happily send you the recording.

We listen with our ears …..we listen with our heart …..we listen through our skin.
Each day we will do a meditation practice to help us to go beyond the limitations of the mind into awareness.
As we become aware of who we are and what we are here to do – through accessing silence we gain a glimpse into our potential and our pure creativity.

On the 6th day (Sat ) participants will put it all into a practice individually for a walking meditation.
On the 7th day (Sunday) we will meet for a short live meditation followed by an opportunity to share experiences and to connect with each other lasting up to one hour

Participants will be guided to download a PDF with some prompts for the walking meditation.
We welcome you to add any prompts to the sheet to share with the group.

The walking meditation will not be geo located. You will be guided where to walk through the experience of listening to your inner voice and allowing the space created through silence to be your guide.

It is recommended to write or sketch in a journal after each day of meditation. This helps to bring your awareness into manifestation. This journal can be used as a prompt and aide memoire of your experiences and can be shared on the final day if appropriate.

I’ve recently taken time out of my practice due to a health scare. In 2022 I found out I had a brain tumour and had surgery to remove in December 2022. As I write this I have no idea what the future holds but do any of us really know the answer to this? ...
