Chorlton Oral History Soundwalk
Commissioned by North West Sound Heritage, sound artist Hayley Suviste created a geo-locative sound walk on Sonic Maps, using interviews from The Manchester Studies unit's extensive oral history project from the 1970s.
Hilbre Island at High Tide
I compiled sounds recorded during a walk around Hilbre Island during high tide, when the island is cut off from mainland Wirral. I wanted to document the atmosphere of the island, for anyone unwilling or unable to make the journey themselves.
